This Is Not a Presidency — It’s a Cult, and America Knows It

We do have a president sitting in the White House right now who is openly working against the people of America, and I’m not saying this as an opinion, I’m saying it because it is a fact that anyone paying attention can see. Yet what can we actually do about it? We can protest, we can take to the streets, we can make noise, but in the end those holding the power are Republicans themselves, and they will protect their own no matter how much it crushes the rest of us.

Every day we wake up to another headline or another decision where our health coverage is stripped away, yet we paid for it. We see food stamp programs gutted, yet we paid for those programs. Section 8 housing aid dismantled, and again, we paid for this program. Even our Social Security — money we earned, money we worked for — is left hanging in insecurity while they scheme to take it. Every one of these things is ours by right because we funded it, and yet our voices mean absolutely nothing to them. They will let the funds grow, then wait for the right moment to snatch it all away, leaving us empty-handed while they smile in our faces and pretend it’s for our own good.

Then, as if attacking our basic survival isn’t enough, we wake up to see this man going after immigrants and LGBTQ folks with the same kind of cold, targeted cruelty that can only come from hate. And nothing gets done about it, because the very system making the rules is made up of Republicans — wannabe white nationalists who aren’t even white themselves. Let’s be real here, many of them are the children of immigrants with birthright citizenship, and yet they stand up there acting like they’re defending “whiteness” while stabbing both us and the actual white supremacists in the back. You can’t even be a white supremacist if you’re not actually white, so what does that make them? Opportunists, liars, and users, playing both sides just to climb the ladder.

This man doesn’t operate from any place of faith or compassion. He works with nothing but pure hate in his heart while telling people he’s a Christian, while claiming to have faith in God. But we both know, you and I, that a man full of greed, lust, envy, and hate does not come from God. His followers don’t even recognize who God is, so they swallow the lies whole and convince themselves that a man with no godliness, a man who built nothing but a cult, is somehow sent by God.

Do you see the game? He fakes white supremacy to draw in the hateful, he fakes religion to draw in the faithful, and he lies to everyone else just enough to convince them to elect him. Then the second they do, he stomps on their backs, drains their pockets, and treats them like garbage. And when some of them finally wake up and turn against him, he throws a fit like a spoiled child because he expected them to keep smiling while he destroyed their lives, expected them to watch their kids go hungry and still thank him for it.

This is not a presidency. This is not leadership. This is a cult. And this is exactly how cults are run — by manipulating the weak, using fear and lies, pretending to be a savior, and then feeding on the very people who gave you their trust until there’s nothing left to take.

And for the record — to the Trump supporters who might stumble in here thinking they can “set me straight” or argue their little talking points — don’t waste your time. I don’t debate with people who worship a conman like he’s the second coming while he robs them blind. You’re not bringing facts, you’re not bringing truth, you’re bringing the same recycled nonsense that’s been laughed out of the room a thousand times over. So go ahead, clutch your MAGA hat, cry about “fake news,” and tell yourself you’re owning the libs, because the rest of us will be over here owning reality while you’re stuck in the comedy sketch you call a belief system.
