It means these girls, these children, were sacrificed to protect wealth, reputation, and influence, and all of it was written off as the price of keeping the machine moving, as if money on a piece of paper carries more value than a human life, more value than the innocence of a child, more value than the very concept of morality itself. And while that sounds unthinkable, while it sounds like something too dark to be true, you know as well as I do that it happened and it continues to happen in the shadows, because people in power never stop feeding off the weak until they are forced to.

Let me be blunt, because there’s no point dressing this up with polite words — if you knew what happened to those girls, if you knew the abuse, the trafficking, the violence, and you denied them justice, you are a fraud. You can sit at your dinner table and pretend you’re a good parent, you can hug your children at night and tell them you love them, but you are lying to yourself, because in truth, you are a coward who looked away when children who were not yours were destroyed. You protected your comfort while they lived in trauma, and that makes you complicit in their pain. You are not their protector. You are their failure.

And it doesn’t stop there, because too many of these people, these men in suits, these politicians, these judges, these leaders, wrap themselves in titles like “Christians” and scream about “family values,” but the reality of their actions tells another story. They do everything against God, against love, against justice, and they hide behind their money, their religion, and their institutions. What’s worse is that people listen, people bow to them, people defend them, while forgetting that Jesus himself flipped the tables of the greedy and condemned hypocrites louder than anyone. If you claim to be a Christian while excusing the destruction of children, your faith is nothing but theater, a costume you put on to hide your corruption.

The truth is simple and uncomfortable — the system was built not to protect the innocent, but to protect wealth, to protect legacy, to protect the very people who should be in prison but instead sit in penthouses, smiling, while their victims drown in silence. And the ugliest part of this reality is that some people knew and chose not to act, because their jobs, their titles, their comfort meant more than justice, more than truth, more than children. That is what it means to fail not only as a leader, not only as a protector, but as a human being.

We can no longer ignore it, no longer excuse it, no longer say “that’s just how it is.” Because every time we do, another child gets chewed up by a machine designed to feed itself off innocence.
