It’s about optics. It’s about headlines. It’s about selling fear to a base that’s already been trained to see brown skin as a threat.
This isn’t strategy—it’s spectacle.
And while some people are busy waving flags and reposting doctored memes about “protecting America,” the rest of us can clearly see what this is: a desperate authoritarian move designed to militarize compassion and criminalize survival.
Yes, people are fleeing danger. Yes, they are seeking asylum—something protected by both U.S. and international law. But instead of meeting that with humanity, Trump wants to meet them with guns, uniforms, and propaganda.
A Manufactured Crisis
Let’s be real. There is no invasion.
No army of criminals charging the gates.
No violent mob storming the nation.
What there is—are families, children, and individuals risking everything for a shot at life, freedom, and dignity.
But see, if Trump and his media lapdogs admitted that, they wouldn’t have a villain to parade around in their political horror show. So instead, they twist the narrative into a Hollywood fantasy of “strong men defending the nation” against “illegals.”
It’s disgusting. It’s dangerous. And it’s a straight-up lie.
Militarizing the Border = Militarizing Racism
Let’s not sugarcoat this. Deploying the military to the southern border is not about keeping Americans safe—it's about enforcing a racist fantasy where only certain types of people are welcome here.

Let’s also not forget that many of these migrants are fleeing conditions caused or worsened by U.S. policies, coups, trade deals, and interference. But instead of taking accountability, the U.S. government—under Trump’s voice—decides to treat them like criminals, invaders, and terrorists.
Imagine showing up with a suitcase and a prayer, only to be greeted with tanks and barbed wire.
