Heartfelt Prayer for World Restoration, Justice, and Protection- Prayer to remove evil leaders.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, humbly seeking the cleansing and restoration of faith throughout this broken world. In these dark days, when doubt and fear seem to grow, we long for Your love to arise afresh among us. Ignite a fire of faith in our hearts and in the hearts of people everywhere, that we may stand firm, bold and fearless, clothed in Your divine authority.
We pray first for the most vulnerable among us. You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the weak. With broken and contrite hearts we lift up migrants and strangers, the elderly and the disabled, children of every age, the poor and the marginalized, the oppressed and the rejected. We ask You to wrap them in Your protection and provision. Comfort the lonely so they know they are not forgotten. Bring strength to those who are weak, healing to those who are sick or disabled, and hope to those in despair.
As it is written in Your Word, "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as a native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt." O Lord, may this ancient command live in our hearts today. Let us embrace migrants and refugees as our own, give them a safe haven, and honor them as if they were our brothers and sisters. Help us to see Your image in every stranger we meet, and to extend to them the grace and hospitality You commanded.
By Your Spirit, teach us to defend those who cannot defend themselves. Your Word declares, "Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy." So we pray, God of justice: embolden us to speak for the voiceless and act for the forsaken. Give wisdom and resources to those who will care for orphans, widows, the single mothers and fathers who struggle alone, and all who suffer injustice. Let not the cries of the poor and the silent tears of the oppressed go unheard.
We also pray for those who devote their lives to serving others. Bless and protect the news reporters and journalists who risk so much to bring truth to light. Shield government workers, teachers, and all civil servants with integrity and compassion, and guide judges and legislators to serve with honesty and justice. We especially lift up police, military, and veterans—those who protect our communities and our freedom. Grant them courage, clear vision, and hearts aligned with Your righteousness. Be with doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers on the frontline as they fight disease and despair; fill them with compassion and wisdom.
For those caught in despair and captivity, we bring them before You. Look upon prisoners, Lord, especially those who are wrongly accused or forgotten. Bring justice and redemption, transformation and new life into their midst. Be a healer to hospital patients, a God of miracles in hospital beds. We pray for orphans and children in foster care, and for the lonely in nursing homes; let Your loving presence surround them and give them family and care.
Holy Father, we call on You to purge all that is evil from among us. Shake to the core every person in power who enables Lucifer’s destruction of the innocent. Let corrupt ambitions crumble. Expose and frustrate every secret evil plan that threatens the good. Reverse every attack of the enemy: let it return to its sender, becoming a testimony to Your power in us. Paralyze the tongues of liars, so that dishonesty falls silent and only truth is spoken.
We come against the rule of darkness, calling on the name above all names: remove Lucifer’s power on earth. Send it back to the fire pit whence it came, Lord Jesus, by Your triumphant name. We declare that justice and light shall prevail. As Proverbs says, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn." Let righteousness flood the halls of power. Turn the hearts of leaders from greed to compassion, from pride to humility, from bitterness to mercy. Write new laws of fairness, mercy, and truth upon their hearts.
Dismantle the organizations and networks that serve darkness. Confound their efforts, bring confusion to those who conspire. Break their influence and let them stumble into repentance, so they too may taste Your mercy and find redemption. Humble them, Lord, even as You have promised: bring shame on those whose glory is in their shame, that they might seek Your forgiveness.
At the same time, we ask You to strengthen and protect those You love. Keep our eyes on You, O Lord, as we stand in the gap. Grant boldness to every believer, courage to every marcher for justice. Unite us in one spirit and one purpose. Let the body of Christ be a mighty force of good in the world, fearless and filled with divine authority. Together, let us love extravagantly and serve sacrificially.
We remember the charge to care for the weak: to visit the fatherless and the widow in their distress. Make us an extension of Your hands and feet to single mothers and fathers, to grieving families, to our handicapped brothers and sisters. Bless each one with provision and protection. Provide for the daily needs of all who lack: food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, warmth for the cold, hope for the hopeless.
Lord Jesus, this is our plea: let true justice roll down like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Heal our nation and our world from the corruption and cruelty that have entered in. Tear down every wall of division; build bridges of peace and understanding. May we all, regardless of background or station, become one family under You.
We praise You in advance for hearing these prayers. We trust in Your sovereign goodness and Your unfailing love. Rise up, O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered. Lift up the humble; bring down the proud. May Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Love always, Maria D.C. Santiago.
