People Spend Too Much Time On Businesses That Do Not Pay Them.
I can’t help but think how insane it is, that in the middle of everything happening in the world, people are still choosing to separate themselves further from Jesus. You know what I mean? It’s as if there’s a shift happening—people are more focused on things that don’t even bring them peace, things that don’t serve them or build them up. People worry about businesses that don't pay their bills, gossip that doesn’t help their soul, and even waste time in drama that has no eternal value.
I’m watching the news, seeing all the suffering and pain, and not once do I see people praying for the world. Not once do I see people having compassion for the ones who are being affected. It's like we’re living in a time when folks are more concerned with who’s dating who or who wore what. Seriously, when we stand before God, do you really think He’s going to ask about the latest celebrity drama? Do you think He’ll ask if Jamie is back with Paul or if Shaquil finally stopped wearing wigs? We’re over here arguing about things that have no real importance, and we’re forgetting the most important thing—our relationship with God.
I can’t even fathom how disconnected people have become from Jesus. And it’s wild because, deep down, we know what’s truly going to matter in the end. It’s not the opinions of others, or the gossip we hear, or the business deals that keep us up at night. It's the love we show, the faith we keep, and the prayers we lift up.
Let me tell you something, we have to reconnect. It’s time to stop letting the noise of the world distract us. If we’re not praying for peace, for healing, for the world, then what are we doing? We can’t afford to stay silent when so much is happening around us. Don’t be fooled by distractions. Don’t let the world take you so far away from God that you forget where your true power lies.
God is waiting for us to come back to Him. He’s always ready to listen. But we have to be the ones to turn back and open our hearts again. So, my friends, let’s be the light in this world. Let’s lift others up. Let’s keep our focus on what truly matters. Don’t let the world’s chaos pull you away from the peace that only Jesus can give.
Take a moment today and pray. Pray for the world, for the lost, for the hurting. Don't let these moments slip by. We need more faith, more prayer, and more love. The time is now.
Remember, if we don’t stand for Jesus, we fall for everything else. Let’s choose wisely.
I’m not telling you that you need to post about God all day long, but hear me out. What if the very first thing you did when you woke up, the very first words you shared, were about Him? What if you took a moment to thank God for waking you up, for giving you another day to live? What if you prayed for understanding, for the wisdom to navigate the day ahead, and for peace in your heart?
It’s so easy to start the day with the negativity that’s all around us. How many times have you seen the first post of the day about gossip, about people fighting over petty things, or about someone who wore a wig or broke up with someone? I’m not saying you can’t share those things, but is that really where we should start? Is that the energy we want to bring into our day?
What if, just for once, we shifted the focus? What if we started with a prayer for change? A prayer for the end of racism, bigotry, and hate? What if we chose to set our intentions on something higher, something that will truly change the world for the better? I’m not saying we have to fix everything in one post, but starting with gratitude and prayer could shift the entire atmosphere of our lives and the lives of those around us.
When you change where you invest your time, you change your life. The energy you put out will return to you. Instead of filling your mind with negativity, fill it with love, with peace, with the desire to see things improve. Once you start investing in positive energy and the things that truly matter, life will reflect that change. It may not be overnight, but with every little shift you make, you’re building a better future.
So today, take a moment to reflect. Let your first words be filled with gratitude. Let your first post be a prayer, a wish for understanding, and a hope for change. When you change what you focus on, you change the entire course of your life.
Let’s start today with something positive. Let’s take control of the energy we put out there.
